Junior Golf
Conditions of play for Juniors competing in Senior competitions
The Yeppoon Golf Club Committee has set the following conditions which may be reviewed or withdrawn at any time
- To be eligible to compete in regular senior competitions, Junior Boys must be a minimum 14 years of age and have a maximum GA handicap of 19.4. Junior Girls must also be a minimum 14 years of age and have a maximum GA handicap of 29.4.
A” Grade Junior players are also eligible to play in the following events:-
- one (1) senior Saturday competition each calendar month,
- Yeppoon Open Championships and
- the Club’s honor board events ie Club Championships Foursome Championships
In each of the abovementioned conditions, only one (1) Junior can play per group of players
- All other Junior players with a GA handicap, not meeting the criteria stated above, may play in NORMAL SUNDAY COMPETITIONS ONLY. Two Juniors may play with two Senior players BY ARRANGEMENT. Senior players are to mark cards of Junior players.

Juniors must be accompanied by either a parent/guardian or a Blue Card holder, or have the parent/guardian make suitable arrangements with the Match Committee to satisfy the requirements of the Child Protection Act and the Club’s Child Protection Policy.
